What is smart street light？
Smart street light is a new type of public infrastructure based on road lighting poles, integrating public security, traffic signals, communications, traffic signage and so on. It not only has the lighting function of ordinary streetlights, but also integrates 5G base stations, cameras, LCDs, light boxes and other equipment, integrating urban real-time video, signal communication, smart charging and other functions.
The main functional features of the smart street light include energy management, traffic management, safety management, environmental management, maintenance management and data management. For example, it can adjust the brightness and color temperature by means of energy management technologies such as LED lighting, light control, time control, etc. to reduce energy consumption and waste; collect data through sensors, analyze traffic flow, pedestrian flow and other information to automatically adjust the brightness of the street light to ensure smooth road conditions; and realize safety monitoring and timely warning and alarming by means of cameras, monitors and other devices.
Smart street light has a wide range of application scenarios, including municipal roads, parks, communities and smart villages. On municipal roads, it can realize energy saving, remote monitoring and traffic management; in parks, it can be used for safety monitoring, energy-saving lighting and environmental monitoring; in communities, it can provide community safety monitoring and recreational activities; in smart villages, it can be used for agricultural monitoring.
