Project Overview
In 2017, ZENOME installed 270 all-in-two solar street lights in Yaoundé, Cameroon’s capital. Each unit featured a 6-meter pole and a 60W LED head, powered by an integrated solar storage and control system. This project marked ZENOME’s entry into the Cameroonian market and provided a reliable, eco-friendly lighting solution for urban streets. It enhanced nighttime visibility and safety while demonstrating the viability of solar technology in public infrastructure.

In September 2024, ZENOME supplied four high-pole floodlights for an open-air sports field in Cameroon. These poles support higher illumination needs, making them suitable for open public spaces such as squares or outdoor courts. This project reflects ZENOME’s ability to customize solar lighting solutions for diverse scenarios, further expanding its product applications in the region.

In mid-2025, ZENOME implemented a large-scale solar lighting project in Cameroon, comprising 850 all-in-two (single-arm and double-arm) and 500 all-in-one solar street lights. This initiative significantly expanded public lighting coverage, reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions. The project also strengthened community safety, supported local economic activities after dark, and promoted the adoption of clean energy across urban and peri-urban areas.
